Corruption free Upazila, corruption free ‘Sonar Bangla’

Declaring Singra a corruption-free humanitarian upazila, State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak said, "If 491 upazilas are free from corruption, the country will turn into the golden Bengal of Bangabandhu." The state minister made the remarks while addressing a DO distribution function for the development of 20 educational and religious institutions in the upazila under the rural infrastructure maintenance program at Singra Upazila Parishad Hall room in Natore on Thursday afternoon. During this time, Palak shared his phone number in the presence so that they can complain against anyone who intends to undergo any unfair means.. He said, 'People's representatives like us should get along well with the people. We are the servants of the people. Your tax money pays us our salary, supplies our car’s fuel.' The state minister urged the people to vote for his party, saying that the incumbent Prime Minister deserves to come to power again and again for setting up digital centers, housing the homeless and providing employment to the youth. Municipal Mayor and General Secretary of Upazila Awami League Jannatul Ferdous, Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Kamrul Hasan Kamran, Singra Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Rafiqul Islam, Upazila Project Implementation Officer Al-Amin Sarkar, Singra, General Secretary of Diabetic Association Maulana Ruhul Amin and others were present in the program which was presided over by Upazila Nirbahi Officer MM Samirul Islam.
